#26: Participation
Hello everyone!
So I was just wondering earlier why hardly anyone participates anymore, and if I should continue doing this on Mondays.
So in that vein, this week’s prompt is participation. :)

Oh, please don’t stop! I look forward to this everyweek. I’ve been terribly busy, but I am still trying to play, I was late this last week, and it is up now, and I plan on doing this week’s too. :)
My own participation has dropped off due to other things going on in my life. However, I must say that I found it a lot more fun when the entries from the previous week were posted with the current week’s word. It might seem like no big deal, but it means I don’t have to go into a separate comment window to get to other people’s entries.Another observation (NOT criticism) is that the quality of the words seemed to change when you got too busy to participate yourself. I know “simple” is not what this exercise is about, and you don’t want words like “dog” or “love”, but for me reminiscence doesn’t automatically happen with just any random word. The best ones (IMHO) are concrete nouns (i.e., “smoke” or “shiver”, not “accord” or “amendment") or a common word with the potential for emotional content, such as “difference”.By the way, I just want to thank you, Natalie, for doing this and keeping it going for all this time even with your very busy academic schedule. If I didn’t care so much about this, I wouldn’t bother to comment at all. I hope you understand that.
The Importance of participation.
I love this blog, and return each Monday in order to see what the word is. Often nothing sparks for me, so I don’t write...but it is a pleasure reading through what others have written. Please keep it up!
A little participation.
I’ve always been eager to participate.
I’ve enjoyed reading other’s weekly anmamnesis blogs, and finally just learned how it works--please keep it up, I really want to particape now that I’ve found it!
A kick-my-own-butt post on participation.
